Audio Streams
Welcome to my audio streaming page! Here, you can easily access links to streaming audio via Icecast for my GMRS repeaters, ham repeaters, weather radios and more. I also post my Broadcastify stream for NA0D Ham repeaters. You can also your computer audio player or even phone by downloading the stream from my Icecast Server.
Streams download as a .m3u file, which is an MP3 with data embedded. The data is the "channel" or title of the stream. These streams will automatically play in most desktop browsers using HTML5, but on Android or iOS devices you may need a streaming app or simply remove the .m3u extension from the download URL and just play the stream URL without it. How? Copy the URL. Clear the address bar you're using on your phone. Repost the copied URL and remove just the .m3u extension from the URL. It should then stream just fine on most phones. (Sample: audio.na0d.com/BaxterStream instead of audio.na0d.com/BaxterStream.m3u)
If you just want to use a streaming app, here are some samples....
These apps can take the m3u stream URL directly, decode it and stream the audio live on your device with the playlist data.
Streams are active when they are showing on the Icecast Server List below, and are offline when not visible. If you are using Android, the M3U link is a text file to a stream, which Android may not play depending on the OS. You should just enter the stream URL in your phone browser WITHOUT the .m3u extension and it will play normally.
A GREAT program to use to stream audio to your desktop or beyond is

This program will allow you to stream multuple sources at the same time, in real time, to minitor repeaters or whatever feed you'd like to hear. Great software and STILL has support. There is a one-time fee, but it is worth it. Check it out!
