WINLINK and current status with Hurricanes

I have been sent and seen this message on social media in relation to Winlink. We should comply and help where we can. I am in the process of improving antennas at two sites so they are wider area and more reliable. Until then...

Winlink Announcement:

All--

The Winlink Development Team is requesting that all non-essential Winlink traffic (weekly nets, testing, etc.) be postponed until after hurricane Milton has moved on and response efforts have turned to recovery. There is still a lot of traffic in the aftermath of Helene, and we expect Milton will add significantly to that. We need to keep the gateways clear for that traffic.
