Yaesu Digital Modes

I have a live and working YSF Reflector.  With the reflector, you can use with your hotspot and access the repeater system as a bridge. It is hooked up full time, and allows you to communicate into the NA0D and connected systems with your YSF digital radio and hot spot. More info is below.

This is my Yaesu Fusion Reflector for our Yaesu Friends! This is currently active and connected to the NA0D Repeater System. Set YSF11184 US-NA0D-AR on your hotspot and connect to wide area system! Connection to WIRES_X Next

How does the reflector work?

The YSF Reflector is a program running on a computer that allows hotspots to connect using Yaesu Fusion to different rooms. Mine is connected to my own room, YSF11184, which is, in turn, bridged to my analog repeater system using DVSwitch and Allstarlink software. The system provides a seamless connection back and forth between YSF operators and analog operators. It is even bridged in a way that someone coming in using DMR can talk to someone coming in via YSF or even analog. It's all done behind the scenes for ease of use. So, if you have a Yaesu digital radio, you can now connect it to your hot spot and communicate with us! Set your hot spot in the Yaesu Fusion section to the YSF11184 US-NA0D-AR room and you'll be able to talk to others on the analog repeater system. It's magic!

On a Pi-Star, enable Yaesu System Fusion, and find my Room as a start up host like the picture here. Put your Yaesu radio in digital mode, and transmit to your hotspot on the frequency its set up for. You'll then be in the system via YSF! It's easy and sounds good for those that want to participate from a distance!
